What It Is: Jens (Christian Fredrik Mikkelsen) is a teenage boy on a weekend camping trip with his friends. Included in that group is Lisa (Nasrin Khusrawi), a girl Jens is interested in. She’s into him too. The two of them do what two teenagers who are into each other would do. Where this musical animated comedy differs is we are inside Jens’s testicles watching the sperm within him try to find Lisa’s egg. It’s a party in Jens’s pants, and these little swimmers are looking for an escape.

What We Think: This movie sucks. Sometimes, an edgy setting can lead to something cool—but not here. Instead, we’re subjected to uninteresting songs that wouldn’t have been enjoyable even in English.

I’m all for toilet humor and immature jokes, but this is just bottom-tier stuff: fart jokes, a guy shitting his pants, and everyone pointing and laughing. “Sophomoric” doesn’t even fully capture it.

The animation? Abysmal. The script? Unrelentingly obnoxious. Sitting there in the darkness of the theater, I kept thinking about The Wild Robot and how much better it was than this mess.

Our Grade: F, Skip, skip, skip. It’s not just that this film is truly unfunny and grossly misguided—it’s that there’s absolutely nothing interesting happening here. At a festival that, even at its worst, usually offers something fun, this fails to deliver. It’s not even enjoyable in a “so bad it’s good” way.

This is a massive skip. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this to anyone—unless you enjoy lowbrow, stupid humor and unfunny jokes about bodily fluids. If you have more than a handful of functioning brain cells, this simply isn’t worth your time. Definitely not how I wanted to spend the tail end of the festival.
