Title: Me, My Dog and I
MPAA Rating: Not Yet Rated
Directors: Alex Zinzopoulos, Jack Skyyler
Runtime: 1 hr 1 min

What It Is: An inside look at dogs and their owners, showing the lifestyle of different people with different sized dogs, as well as different breeds.

What We Think: If you’re looking for a quaint documentary to watch during a lazy afternoon, this is a good one. If you’re searching for a life-changing story, you probably won’t find one here either. This documentary serves its purpose: showcasing the lifestyle of different people with their dogs. It’s charming and enjoyable to watch, and some of the stories that the different owners tell are very heartwarming. You could say at times it’s like listening to an old friend retelling a funny story. The documentary also offers some not so funny stories from the different owners about dogs that have passed away and what impact they had on their lives, and those are very heartfelt as well. Really the ultimate goal of the documentary is to offer tips on adopting a new dog and how to care for them, and it does its job well. The presentation is nothing incredible, the editing is fine and the runtime is only an hour, so you’re not gonna get bored at all.

Our Grade: B (for bone): As I mentioned before, this documentary serves its purpose. A simple inside look at dog owners and their stories, this is one to watch if you’re looking for a new best friend or if you’re wanting to reminisce on all the good times you’ve had together.
