History–making Oscar winner The Hurt Locker (2008) returns to Tubi, along with director Kathryn Bigelow’ss early film Blue Steel (1990). In addition to these movies, action and suspense fans can get Buried (2010) with Ryan Reynolds or speed with Paul Walker in Vehicle 19 (2013). As Mr. Brooks (2007), Kevin Costner plays against type for the disturbing thriller.
Beyond Bigelow’s work, audiences looking for more films directed by women can watch Nadine Labaki’s Caramel (2007) and Kate Barker-Froyland’s Song One (2014).
