What It Is: In this anthology film we’re treated to ten stories told over one all hallows eve. In it we get a plethora of interesting, and bewitched tales. From the ghost that can’t get enough candy to a killer pumpkin, there’re many different tales being told here. Tales of Halloween goes into so many places that you’ll get a great taste for the scaring season. So sit back and enjoy some spooktacular stories of horror and mystery.

What We Think: Anthologies really rely on how many of the stories are good or bad. A good anthology will have more good stories than bad ones. Luckily for me Tales of Halloween has about 7 good ones and 3 not so good ones. That is not a bad closing percentage. Of those seven about 3 are really good those include the last story which revolves around a detective trying to find out who or what has murdered a man, including the consumption of his head. It’s good fun, and I really had a nice time with this one.

Our Grade: B, I can recommend this, not just to horror fans but anyone who enjoys a good horror-comedy. Anthologies are hard, but this one seems to get it right. Check this out because tis the season for a hauntingly good anthology film. One with some fun and funny stories. So go right ahead and check this out if you can. I think it is currently on VOD and in arthouse theaters around the country.
