Oh yeah! It’s that time of year again. We’ve been through the agony of January…ouch and the ecstasy that  has been this summer so far! We only got to pick five movies out of this year but fret not we’ll be going over way more then that! In fact let’s start by talking a bit about some honorable mentions!

Honorable Mentions: With some many good films let’s go in order of release date about films we’re digging. In January and February there wasn’t anything we’d say was upper-echelon. March however delivered a great film in the form of The Grand Budapest Hotel one that had we expanded this to ten would’ve certainly been on here. April was the unofficial start to the summer smackdown of  film, but that smackdown was laid by only one film that we’ll get to later! May had all kinds of goodies! Whether it’s smaller films like Jon Favreau’s Chef, or the Tom Hardy stunner Locke or the bigger films like Neighbors and the big guy himself Godzilla this month more then any had loaded films every week, whether good or not! Now finishing up June we have a great trio of honorable mentions in How To Train Your Dragon 2, The Fault in Our Stars, and 22 Jump Street. I look foward to what else the year has in store with plenty yet to come including our most anticipated film on the summer in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes . Now let’s get to it!
