What It Is: Have you ever seen the MTV show Jackass? It’s literally that. A bunch of dudes…and a lady finally. Shout out to Rachel Wolfson. Do absolutely stupid things to their own bodies in order to make us laugh. Johnny Knoxville and his band of merry idiots are back to do all kinds of horrible things to their own bodies all in the name of entertaining us for hopefully one last time. So what have these guys got in them after 11 years away?

What We Think: This is a Jackass movie. You are going to get exactly what you paid for. Fart jokes, dick jokes, and just the right amount of genital mutilation. These guys have been doing this now for over 20 years. Anyone expecting anything other than a Jackass film is insane. That said I had a great time with this film. It is hysterical. As I write this Johnny Knoxville is wrestling on Wrestlemania 38. A giant marketing ploy? Sure. One that works! As for the film Johnny is insane and almost died. Pontius is doing some crazy stuff I can’t discuss. See it.

Our Grade: B-, The film is what it is. And what it is is available on Paramount+ right now. It’s not the best film of the year but it might be one of the funniest. It’s always going to be hard to rate, review and talk about a film like this. One which is more of a compilation of individual stunts. It is those individual stunts that really show just how well designed and directed these things are. Jeff Tramaine, like some sort of genius, is the perfect guy to be behind the lens for these. See this one. It’ll have you in stitches…much like its protagonists.
