What It Is: As we go through our day we see and do things that are upsetting, whether they are being done to us or by us. This is a story of what happens when those people going through those situation finally explode. With a variety of stories all centered around this concept We’ll get to know a bevy of interesting and spectacular characters who are taking situations to their disastrous ends.In this anthology we’ll get a look into the craziness that is life.

What We Think: There’s a lot to like here of primary importance to note is that each and every short in the anthology connect somehow. Within this great collection of interesting and unbelievable stories the ones that stood out to me were Hasta Que La Muerte Nos Spare and Bombita which roughly translated mean Til Death Do Us Part, and Little Bombs respectively. That pair inparticular shine. It’s a hodgepodge of ideas that never seems thrown together nor does it let it’s ideals cauterize. This may sound negative but those features in a film like this are certainly a positive. Til Death… feature Erica Rivas showing that just because the vows are spoken doesn’t mean her night is over and becomes the Bridezilla to end all Bridezillas upon finding out some interesting news about her husband. She really performs here.

Our Grade: A Funny, interesting and with a concise message Wild Tales does not pretend to be anything but it’s raw honest self. With it’s direction well established and it’s points made this is an anthology that plays more like a greatest hits in the oddities of human behavior under stress. Look for this one wherever you can find it and don’t be scared off by the subtitles they aren’t always a bad thing.
